Recover Data Files, Unerase Files

someone opened the excel file thinking it was another file and deleted and saved data over the original file. Is there a way to recover this data after it has already been saved?

my brother was playing twilight princess and he saved over my data theres no backup is there anyway to fix this plaease help!!

I accidentally deleted some important pictures in my digicam and I want to get them back. Is there a software that could recover the files that i deleted?

My 8GB Kingston Data Traveler – Privacy Edition Thumb drive wont work anymore. Windows says the drive is corrupt. Its the kind of drive that you have to launch an application, which shows up as a CD/DVD drive, to input a password and then it unlocks the actual removable drive. I have alot of very important docs on it and like a dummy, didnt back alot of it up. any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Question mostly says it. Preferably free (please no trials) or fairly cheap. And by lost partition I mean a hard drive lost its partition data and now it wont recognize the disc/partition.

Is there a program or something? Because I recovered some deleted pictures and zip folders with an un-delete program and when I try to open the picture in windows picture and fax viewer it says”No Preview Availible”. And when I try to open a zip folder I recovered it says: “The compressed (zipped) folder is invalid or corrupt”. But the files still have data inside them in the properties menu it says that the file(s) is 56.1 KB, so it should be able to open. Is there a program that can access the files even though they supposedly have “missing” data? By the way I am running Windows XP SP2 with all the updates and stuff. PLEASE try and answer, thanks

I have a Seagate 500 GB/7200rpm something or other hard drive that suffered trauma when the Macbook it was in hit the ground. The drive is like 2 years old. I sent it to Data Recovery Labs and they quoted $1690 to recover the data. Surely there must be an alternative that *normal* people can afford? Any tips?

I am one of the many who had the bitter experience with the windows 7 (64bit 7600 build). I was very happy with the older RHEL. My son tried the third rated Gates OS in my personal system and screwed all the data. Is there any way to recover them?
