Recover Data Files, Unerase Files

I working in real estate company as a technical support, so i want the software to bring the data if accidentaly format the hdd.

I deleted some pictures (Almost 17 gb worth) and accidentally erased them off my recycle bin and really need them back! Please help me.

I have a Western Digital 500Gb Passport hard drive. I can normally browse through the files and folders but about 20% of them won’t open because I get a file corruption error. When I try copying folders to my computer, some folders copy nicely, but with some, the hard drive starts making scratching noises and the files don’t copy. Would anybody please share their experiences and offer me a few possible solutions to copy the data to a new safe location. Thanks.

Hi All, I recently lost all my data due to my system crash. I used “get data back for NTFS” and recovered my data but i was sad when i found out almost all of my recovered files were currepted. I am using windows vista (it sucks). Please suggest me a recovery software that works best and recover my files in its original form. Thank you

And i heard something about hp recovery software. does anyone have any idea about that. where to do free download of that software.

I’m looking for something that can read the ones and zeros of a hard drive that suddenly unallocated itself and says it requires reformatting. I haven’t touched any of the data on it, so it should all still be there. A friend of mine told me about some specific software that you boot into that does this, but I forgot the name before I had a chance to try it (and can’t get in touch with him)…so if that sounds like something familiar.
Also, the data on here isn’t really life or death. Just something I’d like to get back if I could, so I’d rather not go out and buy some super FBI stuff if that’s what it comes to. Thanks.
Unfortunately this drive is SATA only, so as far as I know can’t even try the Master-Slave idea. I was kinda hoping it would be simply, but as long as its not unnecessarily hard I can probably still figure it out…the most I can do is lose lost data.

I have a portable 80 Gigabytes hard drive. Recently I accidentally erase everything on that hard drive. Therefore I want to know what is the best software to have to recovery lost data?

How can i recover deleted data myself, without using any specialist software?

Reason i want to know, is that i haven’t actually lost any data myself, but i’m trying to build up my knowledge of pc support. So i want to learn the long and hard way of doing this.

I use a [Toshiba 1GB] compact flash card in my Nikon D2X and the first time I went to download the images, to my horror, there was nothing there. I was able to playback the images on my camera at first, but now, I no longer can. I know a compact flash uses memory on a chip as upposed to a hard drive, which stores data magnetically on a disc. But is it still possible to recover data from one?

My hard drive is failing , I’m afraid I will lose everything …

I am trying to recover some data that was erased off a pc using the program Sure Delete. So far I have run a number of various file recovery software, they have recovered the file name, but not the file itself (ie: a picture that was deleted will recover the file name, but if you click on it, there is no picture. Also, freeware would be greatly appreciated if it is available to do this. Thanks.
