some software can recover file so i want to permanently delete some files but i had already deleted some files that i want to permanently delete i know that some software delete all the deleted file permanently even after their normal deletion and no file can be recover by any software or undelete . please tell me a free software like this

Best Mac data recovery software?

Hi there,
I’ve been poking around for data recovery software for the mac. I have a hard drive which has a corrupted file system. (I’m a computer technician, but i’m doing this for a mate of mine, and I don’t normally deal with macs) Its a mac drive, so i’m assuming that I will need software for the mac, unless there is software that runs under windows that I can use. I’ve been poking around, but data recovery software for the mac looks pretty dead. Does anyone on here know of any good software titles that are effective? (preferably recover some of the files system too, RAW recovery is not preferred)

Hi,
I’m having a PC for retail shop. Where almost seven people using that PC on their shift hours. It often giving trouble in booting. I’ve used to successfully boot everytime when it gives trouble. But I don’t know the reason , Why it’s often giving a trouble in booting, Even though I was able to successfully boot the system.
Is there any small software package to monitor all the users activities , what they are doing with that PC?. so that I can able identify what causing for the trouble?…I’m having Windows XP with the Broadband.

Here is my situation. I was surfing the web on my two year old Dell Inspiron 1521 laptop with Windows Vista when the computer froze and locked up. I could not click on anything or do anything. I restarted the computer. As it restarted the Windows Startup Repair window came up. It scanned my computer and found errors that it could not fix automatically. It told me that there was no operating system installed. I went online and troubleshot the computer as best as I could. I did not want to lose the information on my hard drive so I went out and bought a new one and installed Windows Vista on it. After two months, no problems. I ordered a case and USB connector for the old hard drive. When I plugged it in to the computer and looked inside the files I was stunned. All the files under my username were gone. Windows said the folder was empty. How could this be? I found data recovery software that scanned my old hard drive and was able to recover all my files. The files were only lost; they were sitting on the hard drive but could not be accessed except after the data recovery software did its job. I have been trolling the web looking for answers. Can anyone explain why or how this could have happened? What can be done to prevent this from happening again?

Okay my mac got fixed yesterday. I lost some music, data, and software. The music I can recover from my iphone, the data wasnt that important. But the software!!!!!! I use to have iphoto, idvd, imovie, and garageband and used them alot. I really need iphoto and idvd right now cuz I promised my best friend I would do her graduation slideshow. What should I do? Should I go to the apple store & buy the expensive software or is there somewhere I can go online? Please help!!! thank you for your time.

My hard drive took a fall a while back, and now I am left wondering if the data is recoverable. The drive still spins, and doesn’t make any bad noises, so I know thats a good sign, but it doesn’t show up in Windows. I was wondering if anyone knew of any good software for recovering files from the drive. Also, if anyone knows of a program that has a free trial that shows me all the files that it would be able to recover if I actually brought the program, that would be ideal. thanks
