KERNEL_STACK_INPAGE_ERROR (77)
The requested page of kernel data could not be read in. Caused by
bad block in paging file or disk controller error.
In the case when the first arguments is 0 or 1, the stack signature
in the kernel stack was not found. Again, bad hardware.
An I/O status of c000009c (STATUS_DEVICE_DATA_ERROR) or
C000016AL (STATUS_DISK_OPERATION_FAILED) normally indicates
the data could not be read from the disk due to a bad
block. Upon reboot autocheck will run and attempt to map out the bad
sector. If the status is C0000185 (STATUS_IO_DEVICE_ERROR) and the paging
file is on a SCSI disk device, then the cabling and termination should be
checked. See the knowledge base article on SCSI termination.
Arguments:
Arg1: c0000185, status code
Arg2: c0000185, i/o status code
Arg3: 00000000, page file number
Arg4: 07fa4000, offset into page file

How can I get rid of TrueCrypt’s “boot loader” screen without the rescue disk?
I used TrueCrypt’s system encryption to fully encrypt my laptop’s hard drive. It worked fine for a long time, but now after typing in my password at the boot loader screen, it says “Error: No bootable partition found”.
I just want to get rid of the boot loader at startup. I don’t care about saving data or anything else, because I’m going to re-install the operating system anyway. I tried hitting F11 at startup to enable my system recovery partition, but it just ends up back at the TrueCrypt boot loader screen.
I cannot find the TrueCrypt “rescue disk” that I created when I first encrypted my system, but I DO know the password if that does any good.
Thanks for any info!
@Madman: Thanks for the answer! However, my computer manufacturer doesn’t supply Windows or recovery discs… only the recovery partition. Like I mentioned, I’ve tried to access it, but I still end up at the TrueCrypt screen (even though when I hit F11 it does say “enabling recovery” or something to that effect).

Can you recover data from a hard drive that experienced blue screen and is unaccessible?
I was installing iTunes and was asked to restart. The computer never restarted. Instead, it shut off. When I turned it back on, I tried launching windows normally and got blue screen. The same thing happened when I tried windows repair, safe mode, best last known configuration, and my operating system CD. I can’t access windows at all. I had many important files on my hard drive and never backed them up. Is it possible to somehow retrieve these files?
Is there really no way to fix the blue screen error of UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME?
This happens at start up and it was determined by a Dell technician that my hard drive had died after using the diagnostics using the f12 button when computer is booting to access it. I will be getting a replacement hard drive but that won’t replace the data on it. Is the technician correct in saying that there is no way of fixing this? He told me that if I wanted to recover the data I would need to contact a local technician. Does anybody have an idea of how much is the price range for recovering data on a internal laptop harddrive for an inspiron 1520?
I have windows Vista home premium 32 bit
Anyone know how to recover from a blue screen error with code 0Xc0000218?
I have a dell 4700 series desktop that was working ok until about a week ago. Now when I start it up, it asks if i want to start windows normally, or with safe mode, etc. No matter what i choose, it then loads the screen for Windows XP, and after a minute or so, it gives me a blue screen error with the code stated above. I think it is a problem with reading the hard drive, but I am not sure. The computer has a Western Digital WD800 hard drive.
I would like to know:
1. What is the problem? Is it with the hard drive or another issue?
2. Is it recommended that I get a new hard drive, and is there any way to get to the data on the old one without paying hundreds for a data recovery service?
3. If I need a new hard drive, will any size SATA drive work with it/what kinds?
Any help will be much appreciated, thank you.
I got a blue screen of death when I started up my computer, and now my computer won’t start. What should I do?
I run Windows 2000 Professional, Service Pack 4. Today, with no warning, my computer crashed. When I tried to reboot, I got a Blue Scren of Death with the message “Inaccessible Boot Drive.” I ran a CHKDSK, and got a message saying that I have unrecoverable problems. I did a FIXBOOT and FIXMBR, but neither of these fixed the problem. Three questions: 1) Is there any way to fix this without reformatting my hard drive? 2) If not, should I reformat my current hard drive or get a new one? 3) Is there any way to recover my data without paying someone else to do it?
How do I import data(photo’s mostly) from my wife’s notebook to another when notebook #1 has a crushed screen?
I (accidentally) sat on my wife’s notebook and crushed the screen. The system itself runs fine, although I only checked once because there was broken shards of glass all over the keys and I didn’t want to risk getting it into the sensitive bits. The notebook itself isn’t really worth the repair bill, so how can we recover a LOT of photos and some ITunes. Both systems are Vista. Thanks!
Can you recover all your data if you have a black screen of death on your computer?
I have a black screen of death when I logged out from my dad’s account. I wait impatiently and turned off the computer. Then when I turn it on, the screen went black. Then I brought my computer to a guy to fix it. He did not reformat the drive. He just install window over it. So can i recover all my data back. Please help! Those data is super important!!!!!
