I have a seagate ST3160245AS hard disk. Yesterday, while installing windows, i restarted the process in between, Now, no operating system is able to detect the disk (tried Linux, windows xp, vista and 98). The hard dist is being detected in the BIOS though. Tried using partition managers also (Norton and paragon). I have a lot of important data which i don’t want to lose.
Now, another disk is in the same condition. Both are SATA disks. Is there any way to get them to be recognized by windows xp?
