I’ve tried RecoverMyFiles software that helps recover files after it’s been formatted. It found a couple photos but most were small thumbnail images. Is there a good one out there you guys would suggest? Thanks in advance.

I have this software that’s recovering all my lost data after reformatting my pc to factory settings the other day. All the pictures it’s finding don’t have the dates for them anymore. Is that normal after recovering them (losing all info about your file)?

I had to do a system recovery (partial) after I had a virus mess up my computer. I ended up having to use my XP disk to boot because there was a registry problem and it wouldn’t load on its own. On the system recovery it said it wouldn’t delete my data files, etc, but I have all my music, games, etc, but not anything from MY DOCUMENTS or MY PICS, these are the only pics I have of my children (dumby didn’t backup) and I need to know which is the best software to use, etc, to recover these pics. PLEASE HELP!
Can i still recover my lost photos from even when I took more shots after I’ve formatted my sd card?

I read many suggestions that the solution is not to take shots anymore once the card was formatted. But i didn’t know about that information before, i just read about this recently. After i lost my photos that was formatted, i took more shots and formatted it again. Now it was doubly lost. I would never believe that the files were irredeemable the fact that the card is still here with me; unless it’s like a human feces that’s flushed forever in the toilet. But even in nature we could trace elements and find the lost fossils. We have now the technology, I am just not aware how or where to find the right ones. Please help me

A friend of mine reformated my hard drive which i guess deleted everything and then he reinstalled windows xp. However I lost a lot of important photos on the computer and i was wondering if there are any data recovery tools that i can use to get the photos back? or are they lost for good….?
I have deleted 300 photos, then took 2 – can I retreieve the old data?

I have a Fuji FinePix8000, and I took 300 photos before the memory cars said “card read error.” I turned the camera on and off, and there were no images on the memory card. My friend suggested I take a Cleopatra’s to make sure it was the card that was acting up, and not the camera.
This was a mistake. I’m concerned that now that I have taken 2 new photos, my old photos have been overwritten and there is no chance of recovering them. Please tell me I’m wrong! And if possible, is there any s to retrieve the old photos?

Recover Deleted Digital Photos?

Hello. I have a FujiFilm FinePix Digital Camera with a Kingston memory card. I accidentally pressed “delete all” when meaning to delete one picture so all of my pictures were erased.
I first tried to recover the photos using many different photo recovery programs. None of them would work and the one that looked legit (CardRecovery) asked me for the drive letter of the camera. The camera wouldn’t show a drive letter when connected so I did some research and installed the camera software (the CD it came with) and it says the drive letter is Drive (:D) if I am reading it correctly. When I click drive letter D a pop up appears saying I have to download “BadCopy” to recover the data but I want to recover photos not DVD/CD’s. I tried BadCopy and it didn’t work.
Sorry this is long but I tried to give as much information as I could. I really want these pictures back so any help would be GREATLY APPRECIATED!

Do I need a card reader? I don’t have one so I was just connecting the camera to the computer via. a USB cord.

My moms computer wont turn on, says some thing like failure to boot or some junk like that. She told me last night (when I was half asleep might I add) to put all the photos that were on her computer on a disk because the computer was having issues turning on and she didnt know if dad could get it booted up again. WELL my dumb ass fricken sister shut down the computer with out telling me! So i wasnt able to back up anything, now i’m gonna get in trouble for her mistake cus a cording to my mother she does nothing wrong. Is there a way to back up the photos even though the computer wont boot up? My mothers gonna practicly kill me if i dont get those photos backed up!

Hi.
I took the computer of an friend, to format it because the computer was full with Viruses. I saved some of his photos on my USB. When i formatted his pc, i wanted to move the saved photos to his pc, but the problem is that the photos had viruses and the antivirus (eset smart security) scanned and deleted som viruses. But when i opened the folder with the photos, i saw that only 30 of 220 photos were alright, the other photos were or damaged or deleted.
What can i do to recover those photos?? I have used Advanced photo recovery, Data recovery… but nothing.
Can u help me plssss

I uploaded some pictures for a friend on my computer from my camera, he showed me the ones he wanted and i deleted the rest from both my camera and my computer, i then emptied my recycle bin, is there any possible way to recover those photos on my computer?
