I have formatted ‘C’ driver before format i took backup ,my documents,desktop and favorites in the ‘D’ logical drive,after i install winxp,when i check i didn’t find those folders and it just blank,can anybody help me to guide which program can retain me back my ‘c’ drive.i try many program like ontrack and easy recovery. etc.,i recover some files and but not all.is there any program which can help me to get back my data 100%.please guide me.

I had a FAT system file first, but during format it only gave me the option of a NTFS format. So I did it. There were 4 partitions but after format it shows only C drive. I did a complete format and not a quick format. Is it possible to recover my lost data? Please let me know if there are any techniques available? Help…

Basically I’m an idiot and my files weren’t backed up but there were quite a few and they were really important so I kinda need them back.
It said something about password and I had a spaz and clicked yes, then when I saw it was formatting I panicked and removed the USB because I didn’t want to lose all of my work.
Accidently formatted my hard drive and reloaded windows xp. Lost All my photos, what can i do!?

I’ve tried RecoverMyFiles software that helps recover files after it’s been formatted. It found a couple photos but most were small thumbnail images. Is there a good one out there you guys would suggest? Thanks in advance.

I had a Windows partition with all my documents in it. Then, my friend recently passed me his hard disk, and I wanted to format it in order to create a clean drive to put my files in. But I accidently deleted and formatted my Windows partition. It was a fast-format, therefore no re-pass, so the partition is supposed to be still there, but only deleted.
Now, I haven’t written data to that partition since this happened. I tried several file recovery tool, but none of them seem to work. Is there a good software (bootable disk) that is able to recover the partition I lost? And if it’s free, it’s better.

Hey there , I recently formatted a hard disk of mine containing data’s Now its replaced with the XP os & all of my data are lost is there any means to recover my data back . I read many suggestions that the solution is not to take shots anymore once the card was formatted. But i didn’t know about that information before, i just read about this recently. After i lost my photos that was formatted, i took more shots and formatted it again. Now it was doubly lost. I would never believe that the files were irredeemable the fact that the card is still here with me; unless it’s like a human feces that’s flushed forever in the toilet. But even in nature we could trace elements and find the lost fossils. We have now the technology, I am just not aware how or where to find the right ones. Please help me

something was wrong with my windows vista gateway 32 bit laptop . i wouldnt startup and the only way to fix it was to re-install windows , and since i didnt have enough space the only way to re-intsall was to format my c: drive. now my computer is running again and i am trying to find a way to get my pictures music , itunes apps and everything back.
ive tried youtube but they are all either too complicated didnt work .
i tried google ( just the first page ) and got same results as youtube
right now i have EASEUS the full version but i think its too complicted.
if someone helps me with this you can have a many points as i can give out . plz help me. i cant sync my ipod because it will erase my data on my ipod so i need this fast.

I accidentally formatted my SD card and had to continue to take pictures, however I lost the valuable orginal pictures.
Is there a software which can recover the lost data before formatting. Hope it works given the fact that I had taken new pictures after formatting?
Searched a lot and tried different softwares but yet to find the one that really works.
