How do I get my photos back after a system recovery?

I had to do a system recovery (partial) after I had a virus mess up my computer. I ended up having to use my XP disk to boot because there was a registry problem and it wouldn’t load on its own. On the system recovery it said it wouldn’t delete my data files, etc, but I have all my music, games, etc, but not anything from MY DOCUMENTS or MY PICS, these are the only pics I have of my children (dumby didn’t backup) and I need to know which is the best software to use, etc, to recover these pics. PLEASE HELP!

So i purchased Easeus data recovery wizard to get back my entire partition that i accidentally deleted thinking it was my other external drive. It took 14 hours to get all my files back just to find out that they dont work anyway. All i have is music and movies. Any ideas on how to get them to work? Please provide email address for further assistance if you feel comfortable doing so.
Can I recover the data back to my computer?!?!?!?!?

Ok, so somehow someone was controlling my computer ( I believe it was hacked onto) so then my dad tried to fix it by doing a “system recovery”. Well it said that all my info and data and files were going to be backed up so that it would all be there when the recovery was done but when it was all finished EVERYTHING was gone. All my photography music and everything. Gone. Is there anyway I can get it back?! PLEASE HELP! Everything on my computer was my life and now it’s gone.

Used the HP recovery tool on my desktop to go back to a previous restore point but it wiped all of my data to the point where it looks like none of my programs, etc. are installed. Are there any tools where I could recover some of the files in my old My Documents folder? Help!

shred or destroy previous data. I’m selling the computer and want the hard drive erased I was told to reformat but have found that is not enough. I’ve already reformatted the hard drive, I don’t want to destroy or replace the hard drive, can I go back and destroy data so that if someone tries to recover data from it they wouldn’t be able to?

Hi…I was using an interfaced program. I made some changes re-setting it back to default options as the manual changes I made seemed to have made it run too slow. On re-start for the changes to take effect, I have lost a huge amount of data. IS THERE ANY WAY I CAN RE-SET MY P.C TO SEVERAL HOURS BEFORE SO I CAN GET MY DATA BACK?

OMG HELP!!!
I don’t know what the hell was com-ed was doing last night in my alley but they ended up creating a power outage in my entire neighborhood. When the power came on again, my computer didn’t!
I don’t have warranty on this computer anymore so that’s why I need help. The computer was plugged through a surge protector and I already tried leaving the computer unplugged for like a half-an-hour and tried plugging back in again, but it was a no go.
Another thing I noticed is that there’s a green light at the back of computer (next to where the power cable is inserted to the computer) that keeps flashing and blinking. If I unplug the computer, the light blinks slower and eventually stops…. not sure if that info helps.
Help, someone help my…. what is the problem?? My biggest concern is recovering the data from my harddrive… but still…. how can I get my computer to start working again (PLEASE don’t tell me to take it to geeksqaud)??

Ok, today i came home from school and my laptop was restarting itself. It displayed a screen that has different options for me to start from (Safe mode, last good configuration that worked, normally, etc.)
None of these options will get my computer started!
I ran the HDD Self Test and it failed both of them.
I want to know how i can recover the files and data that was not destroyed on my computer. I have an External Hard drive storage system that i can save them to but im not sure how to access them with my computer like this.
PLEASE HELP ME!!

had over 15,000 GP, says no memory card is inserted. doesnt recognize it at all. The xbox still works fine and can do temporary saves (quicksaves, checkpoints, etc) in games, just no permanent saves or gamertag
What do I do? any way I can recover my data? take it to a shop or something? anything? Its not a LIVE gamertag. I’m going to burn down microsoft if I just lost all that shit
the PSN disaster – lost Linux data – will i get it back?

Well – this morning i switched on my ps3 to print off my english literature coursework, which i have been doing on Linux since my actaul PC is monumentally f****d and then heard about the PSN problems and the lost data.
I checked my saves and trophies, which all seem to be fine, but my clock had changed and had reverted back to 00:00.
And then i tried to switch to linux – and it doesn’t work, so somewhere my linux data has been lost…
Will this be recovered like the save data should be after the update?
what data recovering software do i use if i wanted to go back many years ago? or many many formates ago?
