Help putting a files’ pieces back together from FAT32 to NTFS?

well i had a 20gb drive with the NTFS format..in it i had a 16gb nero image file (.nrg). as you all know FAT32 partitions dont support files with sizes more than 4gb.so i had kept it in a NTFS drive. a couple of days ago i gave my hard disk to someone to recover my data and get rid of the bad sector on it.so he did so but unluckily he recovered my data on a FAT32 drive. and now the 16gb .nrg file has turned into four 4gb files such as :
16gb.nrg
16gb.nrg.v1
16gb.nrg.v2
16gb.nrg.v3
i bought a new hard disk and put these four files in a NTFS partition but only the first part works … does any body know how i can stick these 4 files back together and make it as one 16gb file name 16gb.nrg ??

Bring Lost Data Back to Action With Data Recovery Software

Do you know the way of recovering lost file? It sounds funny for some of the computer users who do not know about the data recovery. We all know how to delete a file. Simply select the file and press delete button from your keyboard. The file will become invisible.

Of course all of the computer operating systems have a trash that allows you to restore the deleted files. As long as you do not empty that folder, the files you wanted in it are safe. But when you empty the bin, there is no way to simply restore the file.

By the time user empties the bin, he/she has forgotten what was in this. In such situations, user may fall in big trouble. It is generally so easy to forget that one project report or financial report was in the bin.

Once you empty the bin, the files have gone forever, right? Wrong. No file goes forever from your computer hard drive. Only the file system table entry of the file pointer is deleted and thus the operating system can not locate to that location and can’t access the file.

The deleted or lost files demand complete scan of the hard drive to recover. This scan of hard drive is carried out by the data recovery software. Data recovery software apply powerful scanning mechanisms to systematically search the lost file and retrieve it.

Most of the data recovery software can recover simply deleted files, but there are some situations where your file system or other hard drive data structures get damaged due to virus attack or user errors. In such situations, the data recovery needs special  data recovery software, which can perform RAW data recovery.

The RAW data recovery is performed without taking any regard from the file extensions. These software recover the data even if they can’t find the logical drives. These  data recovery software  generally support limited file signatures but allows you add if you can’t find any one.

After understanding the data recovery and considering about the available solutions, the most important and challenging thing is to find powerful data recovery software which can salvage your data in all possible circumstances of data loss.

Computer Hard Drive Recovery – Should We Have An External Back Up?

Technology has certainly come a long way in the past few decades. Gone are the huge contraptions that used to characterize computers. Nowadays, you can easily purchase a notebook computer that weighs in at less than 6 pounds. However, one thing hasn’t changed. Hard drives still occasionally crash and frustrated users are left trying to figure out just how to do hard drive data recovery on their own.

Hard drives aren’t perfect, although they’re amazing examples of mechanical engineering. Physical damage can easily occur since these disks are spinning at such high speeds. The smallest interference while in use can cause damage in certain areas. Various features have been put into place to reduce the likelihood of a critical hard drive failure, but these are not 100% effective. Sadly, physical damage isn’t the only reason why you may need to attempt hard drive data recovery. Many people accidentally wipe out their hard drives because they’re not sure what they’re doing.

If you do know a good deal about computers, and are not the one who messed up the hard drive in the first place, it may be possible for you to do your own hard drive data recovery. Keep in mind that to do this, you may need to fix your master boot record, or retrieve data from a physically damaged disk. If you can’t do this, then you’ll need to employ the services of a hard drive data recovery expert. Actually, if your system crashes and you don’t actually recover data for a living, I’d suggest you go straight to a hard drive data recovery expert. One thing though…they’re expensive. Come on, these guys are specialized in what they do. You didn’t really expect that any hard drive data recovery expert would do it for free, did you?

You know what can really help you save money if your hard drive does crash? Backing up your data. It seems like such a sensible thing to do, doesn’t it? Some users partition their hard drive. This makes it easy for you to do your hard drive data recovery because chances are only one partition will fail. If you’ve backed up your files, you can continue working or, better yet, you can save them to an external source and get a new hard drive. You should definitely invest in an external back up. Yes, it’s an inconvenience to remember to back up important files, but at least you won’t have to pay for a hard drive data recovery expert.
