MY ASUS EEE PC WONT BOOT UP!!!! HELP!! PLEASE…?

hi there, my eee pc asus will not boot. it displays a screen saying ‘asus’ but then it turns black and a blinking underscore is at the top of the page. the last thing i did was click on my folder, then it froze. so i ctrl alt del and restarted my computer. now it wont boot back up. the options say ‘tab to go into bios’ or f2 for boot options.
please help because its really annoying me =[

well, some random bios info flashes up then back to the black screen it goes….still flashing underscore =[
