my CD-R data is erased, how did it happen, can i recover it back the pics i have saved on it?

    If the disk is a CD-R then you can’t erase it. It sounds like you may have created a blank, session on the disk – this will make the disk look like it’s been erased. Have a look at ISOBuster – it will show you the different sessions on your disk and should help you find your files.
