Is There A Way To Recover Old Data From A Recently Formatted Hard Drive On A Mac Ibook G4?

There was essential Quicken information that is desperately needed. Maybe a specialist could do it. Anyone know the cost perhaps also?

    after reinstalling ur OS all is lost and to retrieve it is the price of a new mac so let it go —remember the old saying always back up ur work the best way is to get a external hard drive an store all ur stuff there so when u reinstall or crash ur safe and there so cheap

    I believe after formatting you chances as a home user are slim. There are some special data recovery programs that can pull data off hard drives but they aren’t the cure all. Else there are data recovery centers you can send drives into but it can cost thousands
