Is There A Way To Recover Corrupted Data On A Ps2 Memory Card?
i was playing champions RTA and accidentally saved over my main file. i realized what i did and shut down the ps2 halfway through the save. now the data is corrupted, is there anyway to recover it?
sorry to be the bringer of bad news but the ps2’s data, just like all computer data is deleted when corrupted data is found. the only way to fix this is if you defragmentize (I’m not sure what word to use there) the data and then debug. in other words you need to brush up on your computer science and buy expensive software.

Once a file is half saved over, there’s no way to recover the save. Each character is necessary to keeping the save from being corrupted. However, there are sources to find a similar game saves online and continuing your game from somewhere near your earned progress.
