is it possible to recover data if the hard drive was formatted accidentally?

it still runs windows, just all apps and personal files are gone.

    does offer Format recovery.
    if you google Data Recovery, a vast amount of programs will be there

    But it depends on what type of formatting has been done!

    if it wasnt a zero-level(when u fill a harddisk with zeroes) format u can get some stuff back…

    but i doubt u can get all ur stuff back !

    use recovery software(there are a few free ones available..google(or yahoo) for it)
