I clone d drive with clone hard drive software. after which it shows “Drive is not accessible”. “The file or directory is corrupted or unreadable”. I have photos & other important data which i want to recover. How can i recover data on d. I don’t have second hard disk. what is solution. which software recover data.

How could you have cloned a disk with no other disk, your original data should still be on the disk you cloned it from.

all you need to do is try installing the windows xp( i hope your OS ) on from the bootup disk, but make sure you install to a different folder when it prompts you to installing the OS just before starting to install as by default it installs to C:windows, instead you change the directory name to say C:windows1 and that will install the OS and you can logon to your system withour any problems and can recover any data you got. any doubt pls come back. make sure you choose to insatll on the same partition, where you have your original OS installed i hope it is C: and press enter to install, and here you will see the option to install to a different folder
