Hello friends,
I have my excel file made via excel 07 & saved in excel 03 format. The file is still on my hard disk & not password protected however it do have low level macros & link to the sheets within the sheets.
Now suddenly when i try to open a file it does not display any data. My excel 07 is working fine as it is opening all other excel files.
I have searched on google and have found sharewares which do recover data from my excel file but does not save it to hard disk unless i opt for purchased version.
Can any of you please refer me any freeware which can recover my excel file?

Not too sure how you ended up in that mess. I can only apply some guess work. Perhaps you need a compatibility pack in order to view your excel file.

Supports repairing of files created using MS Excel 2003, 2002, 2000, 97, 95. But its not free:( I think no freeware one for excel recovery. This one is good and worth the cost I think. You could try the trial version to see whether it could solve the problem

It has pretty good rating, it might help you recover your excel file
