how can i restore data after formatting.?

i have a p4 intel system with 40 gb celeron hard disk having four partitions C D E & F. i had two windowsxp systems on C & D partitions.In dos mode i formatted C & D.in setup i changed first boot drive as E mistakenly.Then i installed new windows xp on my system in partition C. when installation completed it became astonishing for me when i saw that partitio E is also empty. i had lot of personal data on E.i had not taken any backup on any drive.Friends,please help me to recover my data.i shall be thankful.

    You have to reinstall the software. I can give you a link that deals with hard drive problems. Some drive problems can be easily fixed by yourself using easily available tools. I found the info at http://fixit.in useful. Try this site, if you can get what is required.
