How Can I Recover Lost Data From My Computer?

17 Oct

I formatted my computer and I would like to recover some images that I deleted long time ago. Is that possible? should I use a special software? What can I do? The extension of the lost data is *.jpg

Sorry Dude You Cant Recover Files From That Partition whom You Have Formatted,If it Really Very Important Then Go To Special Data Recovery Centres And Ask For Platter Transplantation.
    It Will Cost You Much

theres a programme called recuva that will be able to recover any type of file delted from the computer and its free.
however if by reformatted you mean you totaly wipped the entire drive then theres reli slim chance of gettin that stuff back even professionals would have a hard time just to retrieve bits of the files. but if you just reinstalled the windows folder then this programme should work.

If you deleted the files a long time ago, then they may have been overwritten even before you formatted your computer.
    But it’s worth a shot. Try Photorec:http://www.psychocats.net/ubuntucat/reco…

Unfortunetly, I do not know of any way to recover lost data.
But you should consider investing in a USB Drive (15-20 dollars) and store your important files on that.

If you reformatted all of the drives on your computer, then they are gone forever.
