Ok, my hard drive is clicking, but its not as rapid as the video, and it doesn;t stop. It keeps a rhythm to it. When this happens one of the programs I’m running freezes up, I can minimize it and go to a new program, but after 5-10 minutes it takes over the whole computer. I had this before, and I just cleaned off the processor fan because I read somewhere that its either the hard drive or the processor fan. After taht, it started working for about 5 hours, and then it started clicking again.

I slapped the crap out of my computer (I was mad, it didn’t want to read an important set of files, and I have anger issues… so…) , and now it clicks. Did I totally kill it or is it ever-so-unlikely-yet-almost-po ssible to fix? This video is quite informative. I like it.

its a good thing that i bought an external drive and backed up my laptop because a month later the Hitachi harddrive in my laptop died. Good thing i had an external or i would have lost 40+ gb of music!
