Assuming you did a quick format then yes… try googling for “Data recovery”

However if you did a true format, the data was overwritten with zero bytes … sooo you dont have much choice in the consumer line of being able to recover it :(

try recuvah if it finds it then is still there. try not to use the drive until then to prevent overwritten where the file was.

If you did a quick format there may still be hope, you need to get some recovery software. Don’t really know of any though, sorry.

YES absolutely :) I’m right now undeleting my 60GB deleted files now… if you have deleted something, try not to add or delete any more files, dont touch the PC till u use a recovery software.

I reccoment stellar phoenix data recovery

it would take a professional to do it. formatting makes it alot harder to retrieve data. alot of times people format after erasing to make it harder for someone to get to the old data.

Try this, it works. I have used it with great success. Bit pricey though.

Get a Linux LiveCD that has system rescue (SystemRescueCD, for example) in it and try to use it to recover your data. It might just work.
